Which trawl net holds the most? Comparing DREDGE nets

A trawl net’s capacity decides how long it drags before you haul it in, and its habitats decide what it catches. Compare both before you research or buy one.
A trawl net drags behind the boat and fills its own storage as you sail, so its capacity decides how long it works before you haul it in. Basic Trawl Net holds a 5x5 grid, Large Trawl Net an 8x8 grid and Heavy Duty Trawl Net a 9x10 grid, the largest in the base game.
Capacity is half the choice, because a net catches only in the habitats it reaches. Basic Trawl Net and Improved Trawl Net reach Coastal water alone, which is enough for Blue Mackerel. Silt Filtering Trawl Net reaches Shallow and Mangrove water, and Tempered Mesh Net reaches Coastal and Volcanic water. A bigger net that never reaches your water is no upgrade.

Equipment compare lays one class side by side, marks the leading value in each column and states every other net’s gap to it. The gap between 25 and 90 cells, or between a $250 and a $300 price, reads at a glance.
