Bait
Bait is a type of Consumable used to catch fish. When Bait is in the player's inventory it can be deployed by using the bait Ability which will create a disturbed water or give the player several crabs. Fish caught this way have an increased chance of being a Trophy. The Mixed Bait is the only bait in the base game. The other baits are part of The Iron Rig DLC.

| Exotic Bait | Spawns a disturbed water which contains the Exotic Fish from the current Region. Must be used in the general area in which the original Exotic Fish spawned. | Crafted for 1x Mixed Bait, 1x Dark Canister, and $700 after upgrading the Factory to tier 4. |
